OUR STORY
Founded in 2025 by AJ Llona and Jeremy Nordstrom, Direct Recovery Support was created from a need for more accessible resources for people in recovery. Created by people in recovery, for people in recovery — we believe in the power of lived experience. At Direct Recovery Support, we provide support to the people who dedicate their lives to supporting others. We see that ripple effect in our community every day.
Our mission is to provide resources and support to people navigating addiction, walking with them through the obstacles they may face on their path of recovery.
Our programs are centered around one-on-one peer recovery services and resources, built to promote sustainable recovery from substance use and addiction, and to meet people wherever they are on that journey.
Our vision is to work alongside other recovery organizations to provide resources across the state of Minnesota, helping countless people find sustainable recovery through all pathways to recovery.

OUR APPROACH
Recovery looks different for everyone. At Direct Recovery Support, we believe in meeting people where they are because there is no single path to lasting recovery. Whether through professional treatment, 12-step programs like AA or NA, SMART Recovery, medication-assisted treatment, or another approach entirely, we support the journey that works for you.
